1. Chow Chow Treats
Spoil your dog with freshly-baked treats! Come visit Chow Chow Treats, South Milwaukee’s very own doggie bakery! From meat-based sticks to homemade birthday cakes, this local spot will be your pup’s new favorite destination.
2. Oak Creek Parkway & Mill Pond
Spend a day with your canine companion at Oak Creek Parkway—a beautiful urban park that winds through South Milwaukee. You and your dog can meander along the creek, search for crawdaddys, and go fishing at Mill Pond!
3. GG’s Grooming Salon
Does your dog need a spa day? Pamper your pup at GG’s Grooming Salon—South Milwaukee’s full-service dog grooming salon with over 10 years of experience. After growing my hair out all winter, I might have to see if they’d mind giving me a trim…
4. South Milwaukee Downtown Market
Located at the Bucyrus Commons in the heart of South Milwaukee, the Downtown Market is full of fresh produce, live music, and good old-fashioned family fun. The market runs from May to October, taking place every Thursday afternoon from 3-7. I’d love to see you (and your dog) there—don’t be too shy to come say hi!
5. Grant Park
Instead of taking your typical daily dog walk, venture to Grant Park for stunning trails and a scenic lakeside view. Your dog will love the new smells, the fresh air, and the occasional run-in with other neighborhood pups. The Seven Bridges Trail is fun for everyone—no matter the season!

I absolutely love meeting all of the four-legged friends of South Milwaukee! All outdoor community events are dog-friendly—from Heritage Days, to Crusherfest, to Family Spooktacular and more. Plus, you’ll probably run into me!
