Taco Tuesdays at Azteca Restaurant

As a self-proclaimed foodie, I’m always on the lookout for the best meals around. Lucky for me, South Milwaukee is stacked with the finest restaurants, bakeries, and cafes in all of Wisconsin!

When I’m not in the mood to try something new, I always resort back to one of my favorite spots: Azteca Restaurant.

As soon as I smell the aroma of fresh tortillas and hear the sound of sizzling fajitas, I know I’ve come to the right place. Azteca’s menu is chock full of authentic Mexican dishes, ranging from spicy Enchiladas Suizas, to simple cheese quesadillas for the kiddos.

Each and every house-made drink is a work of art—all topped with fresh fruit and herbs. In my humble opinion, you can also never go wrong with a Mexican Coca-cola to pair with your chimichangas.

My personal favorite? The shrimp tacos. But on Taco Tuesday, I usually just order one of each flavor.

Aside from the deliciously fresh food and inviting atmosphere, Azteca is acclaimed for their friendly staff. In fact, the Azteca family were some of the first friends I made here in South Milwaukee. They welcomed me with open arms, and it will always be my go-to spot!
